electric hoist chain

An electric hoist chain application changes when headroom, runway length, duty cycle or the building feeder changes. Write those site constraints into the RFQ instead of assuming a nameplate number travels between buildings. Aisle width, lowered height and three-phase supply belong on the same sheet as quantity and destination. Public hoist pages often list FPM and 115 V / 230 V / 460 V; copy the unit names, not a model story from another plant.

Site stories that change the specification

Narrow warehouse aisle under a runway

Narrow warehouse aisles

Aisle width and hook path decide whether a hook-mount unit or a trolley is even eligible. Low headroom often matters more than a larger nameplate.

Lifts per hour and true vertical travel belong in the duty note. Powered versus manual equipment is a duty and feeder question, not a ranking.

Maintenance mezzanine with chain bag

Maintenance mezzanines

Lowered height, free path and guardrail clearance belong in the brief. Attachments change the usable rated capacity.

Indoor dock with overhead beam

Indoor docks

This cluster stays on industrial indoor lifting. Marine, ATV or vehicle recovery winches are outside the inquiry family.

Procurement situations, not awards

The cards below are worked examples of how a brief changes. They are not customer names, savings claims or completed projects.

Nameplate versus application load

Two factories can print the same tonnage and still disagree once load center, hook block and lift height are written. Ask each reply to state the attachment included in rated capacity.

Equipment price versus installed cost

A machine-only line that silently drops runway steel, freight or commissioning is not cheaper. Keep those extras in or out together on every comparable offer.

Electric versus manual handling

Choose from lifts per hour and available voltage, not from a universal ranking. A chain electric hoist and a lever hoist are different purchase objects. If the building only has single-phase supply, write that limit instead of asking every factory for a three-phase default.

Translate the building into RFQ fields

List headroom, runway, feeder and destination with the electric hoist chain quantity. Then request factory quotes on that same sheet.
